Man with knife arrested near Prince Albert child care facility

Prince Albert Police say a man armed with a knife, moving in the direction of a child care facility, was suffering from a mental health crisis.

The incident occurred late Tuesday afternoon in the city’s Midtown neighbourhood.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene and transported to Victoria Hospital for treatment.

No one was physically hurt.
