‘It’s going to be miserable out there’: Final blast of winter? What to expect in P.A. region
It would appear Prince Albert isn’t quite out of the winter woods just yet.
Environment and Climate Change Canada is calling for some winter-like conditions in the P.A. region this week. Meteorologist Brian Proctor said the city can expect both snow and rain over the next few days with a low pressure system developing in Alberta.
“We’ll start seeing generally some periods of rain through much of the day on Tuesday, the amounts are looking like about 10-15 millimetres,” Proctor said. “It’ll start transitioning to wet snow Tuesday night.”
“We’ll start seeing some periods of snow through much of the day on Wednesday into Thursday before tapering off in the afternoon. The amount of snowfall is going to be very interesting and very dependent upon the track of the low. I would think it’s going to be heavy, wet snow to a large degree so it may not amount to as deep of a snowfall as we typically might expect with this kind of a system.”
