Sucker River students rewarded with trip to Alberta
A group of children and teens from Sucker River have returned from a weeklong trip in Alberta.
The group, consisting of six youth, recreation worker Brent Berscheid and teacher Megan Roberts, left the community July 8 and returned July 12.
They spent time in Calgary at the Calgary Stampede and Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo. They also got to participate in activities such as swimming, attending an amusement park and eating at new restaurants.
The group also spent a day exploring Banff and taking a ride on the local gondola up a mountain.
