Mustangs remain in CJHL Top 20 after weekend loss, OT win vs. Mils
The Melfort Mustangs remain in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s (CJHL) Top 20 rankings.
The Mustangs fell three spots to number 10 in the CJHL rankings after a week in which they sustained their first loss of the season.
Melfort dropped a 3-1 decision at home to the Melville Millionaires on Friday night in the first of their home-and-home series. The Mustangs avenged that loss with a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday in Melville.
Reilly Kotai scored the game winner, his second tally in the game, on the power play in overtime.
