Cougar spotted in Lloydminster

Police are advising the public in Lloydminster to be on the lookout for a cougar.
Shortly after midnight, RCMP were alerted to a cougar sighting in the city limits as the cat was seen around 33rd Street and 45th Avenue.
Conservation officers were contacted, and they ask the public not to go near or feed the cougar, pets should be inside, and doors and fences should be locked.
Anyone who spots the cougar in the area is asked to call police.
