Pedestrian dies in collision south of Wakaw

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle south of Wakaw on the weekend died at the scene.

RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 2, 10 km south of Wakaw, at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The pedestrian, a 41-year-old man from Domremy, was declared dead at the scene by EMS personnel. His family has been notified.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene.
