Suspect wanted in PA shooting case arrested in Meadow Lake

A 27-year-old man wanted in connection for a shooting incident at the Woodsmere Apartments on November 17 has been arrested in Meadow Lake.

P.A. Police said that officers from their Major Crimes unit went to Meadow Lake yesterday to pick up the suspect who had been arrested by Meadow Lake RCMP.

Albert Morrison was in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning on multiple gun-related charges, including discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon and an assortment of other gun related charges.

His next appearance will be for a bail hearing on Dec. 13.

Local police were called to the Woodsmere Apartments in the West Hill area just after 6 a.m. on Nov. 17 to a report of a gunshot and injured victim.

They found a 23-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries and he was taken to hospital. The last update on his physical condition was Nov. 18 when he was still recovering in hospital.
