P.A.’s Kraus placed #11 in NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings for N.A. goaltenders
A Prince Albert goaltender is catching the eyes of National Hockey League scouts.
Earlier this week, NHL Central Scouting released their midterm rankings for the 2025 NHL Draft and P.A.’s Jayden Kraus was ranked 11th among North American goaltenders.
The former Minto is currently in his second season with the WHL’s Victoria Royals, where he’s posted a 2.73 GAA and a .910 SV% in 33 appearances so far and holds an 18-7-3-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record this season.
His dominance doesn’t stop there as the 6’2”, 207-pound puck-stopper is among the league leaders in every goaltending stat. Kraus is third in goals against average, tied for second in save percentage, third in wins and is tied for fifth in shutouts (1). He was also named the WHL’s Goaltender of the Week last week.
