Blizzard like conditions have resulted in some treacherous driving conditions across northern Saskatchewan.

According to the Highway Hotline’s update at 11p.m., travel was not being recommended on highway 2 from Elk Ridge to Weyakwin; and also from Candle Lake to Deschambault Lake.

Most other roads across the region were snow covered and there was poor visibility.

According to Environment Canada, the snow was expected to taper off overnight.
