Numerous arrests after multiple guns, drugs seized in Pelican Narrows
Members of the Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team and frontline officers of the Pelican Narrows detachment arrested 31 people and made several seizures of illegal drugs and firearms this month.
On Jan. 21, officers executed several search warrants at four different locations in Pelican Narrows in relation to ongoing drug and firearm trafficking investigations.
“These seizures and arrests are examples of how targeted enforcement can take dangerous drugs and weapons out of a community,” Sgt. Toby Martin, Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Teams’ north region acting manager, said.
In total, officers seized four illegal guns at several residences, two replica firearms, 94 grams of crack cocaine, 13 grams of cocaine, a small amount of meth and other drug trafficking evidence.
