Man on Canada-wide warrant arrested in Lloyd
A 41-year-old man from Saskatoon with a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.
The Saskatchewan Crime Reduction Team and Lloydminster Police Dog Services assisted RCMP in finding Layne Antosh, who was wanted following an “extensive fraud investigation” that included forgery, fraudulent activities and identity fraud that spanned across multiple provinces.
He has since been charged with fraud over $5,000, identity fraud, forgery, failure to comply with release order conditions, failure to comply with probation conditions, two counts of possession of prohibited weapon. These have been added to 10 warrants from Saskatoon City Police and eight warrants from Corman Park, Sask.
RCMP is also asking for the public’s help in identifying locations that may have criminal activity and ask that they call police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8377 (TIPS)
