Break-in at Wadena curling rink may be connected to other incidents: RCMP

Wadena RCMP are investigating a break-in at the curling rink.

A man entered the rink and left Jan. 10, and RCMP say no items were reported stolen.

Police believe the break-in may be connected to other break-ins to municipal offices and small businesses in the province over the past few years.

RCMP say they can’t give details at this time on those cases that are potentially connected, but add the incidents happened in central and southern Saskatchewan.

The suspect in the Wadena case was wearing a two-coloured jacket, glasses, gloves, and a backpack. He had a beard or goatee.
