Three arrested after police pursuit near Tisdale

Three people were arrested after a report of an intoxicated driver in Tisdale.

RCMP were called about the driver around suppertime.

The suspect vehicle was found by RCMP leaving a parking lot.

They initiated a traffic stop but the vehicle sped away, with officers quickly following.

The suspect vehicle then turned down a dead-end grid road, sliding into the ditch and becoming stuck in a field.

A woman was arrested at the scene while two men ran into a nearby treed area.

Searches by Tisdale and Melfort RCMP, and the Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, two men was found and arrested that same day.

They were taken to hospital by EMS with weather-related injuries.

The investigation continues. Charges have not been laid at this time.
