RCMP release description of suspect after attempted sex assault at Waskesiu

Saskatchewan RCMP have new information about an attempted sexual assault that occurred last summer at Waskesiu.

On the night of Aug. 31, a woman was approached while in a bathroom at the beach area. Fortunately she was able to escape and did not report any injuries.

The suspect has now been described as an Asian male between the ages of 16 and 21.

He is approximately 5-5 to 5-7 tall with a small build.

He was wearing black Crocs, grey socks, baggy black jeans or cargo pants, a woven fabric belt with a silver metal buckle, a light grey or white shirt and an oversize grey zip-up hoodie he was wearing half off his shoulders.
