Not guilty pleas entered in Prince Albert attempted robbery case

Apr 10, 2025 | 1:03 PM

A Prince Albert court case involving an attempted robbery that was thwarted by bystanders is proceeding to trial.

Elise Daniels, by way of her legal aid lawyer, has entered not guilty pleas to a number of charges. Her attendance was also waived when the matter was discussed Thursday morning at provincial court.

It’s alleged that on March 29, she entered a car, demanded money and threatened the driver with a knife.

That’s when the witnesses got involved and a short physical altercation took place before the suspect fled.

Daniels was soon after located by police and arrested without incident. The victim did not report any physical injuries.

The trial at provincial court will take place August 12.
