Hungry thief breaks window to steal piece of chicken and sandwich

Prince Albert Crime Stoppers is looking for information on whoever broke into a local business and stole a piece of day-old chicken and a sandwich.

According to Crime Stoppers, the thief broke a window to get into the business at 5:30 a.m. on April 12.

The man was captured on security video footage, which showed he took an ice chipper from the staff compound and used it to pry open shutters before he smashed the glass.

Inside, the thief took the piece of day-old chicken and a sandwich.

Crime Stoppers said that while the items taken are minor, the cost of repairing the damage is not and Prince Albert Police are continuing the investigation.

Information from Crime Stoppers does not specify which area of the city the break and enter happened in.

Crime Stoppers is urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
