Trial date set for man charged after firearms trafficking investigation

A man facing multiple charges stemming from a firearms trafficking investigation will go to trial later this year.
Steven Bondy of Hudson Bay was charged after the search of a home in the Viellardville area in March of 2024.
Among the items seized during that warrant execution were 40 rifles, two handguns, more than 20 other guns in various states of disassembly, over 10 thousand rounds of ammunition, two crates of illegal cigarettes, and small amounts of narcotics.
Steven Bondy was charged with seven counts, including one count of weapons trafficking.
