Death investigation at Prince Albert railyard

The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating a death that occurred on Tuesday.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of fifth Avenue East for a report of a deceased male.

Police and Parkland Ambulance quickly arrived on scene and located a deceased male.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service was also called to attend the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for July 30.

The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate and any further information will be provided when it becomes available or upon conclusion of the investigation.
