‘No risk to public safety’: One arrested after police presence in North Battleford

If you spotted flashing lights and extra cruisers around 16th Ave. and 98th St. in North Battleford this morning, police say there’s no need to worry.

RCMP confirm the activity was tied to an ongoing investigation, and a suspect has since been taken into custody.

While officers aren’t sharing further details at this time, they did say there is no risk to public safety.

“As it’s an ongoing investigation, I’m unable to share any more details at this time,” RCMP said in an email sent to battlefordsNOW.
