House destroyed by fire

Fire destroys house at James Smith Cree Nation

A house has been lost to fire on James Smith Cree Nation.

The Kinistino Fire Department was called to the scene Monday afternoon.

By the time crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

The department spent three hours on the scene to battle the fire, while a loader was brought in to help firefighters gain access to the interior walls that were ablaze.
