One man arrested after Tuesday robbery
The Prince Albert Police Service recieved a call Tuesday night at 11:38 p.m. after a reported robbery at a business on the 2800 block of Sixth Avenue East.
The initial report stated a person was armed with a knife when they robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of merchandise.
Police were able to use security footage of the incident and eye witness reports to build a description of the suspect. That lead to an attempted K9 track by a member of the Saskatchewan Conservation Officer Service, but that was unsuccessful.
While still on the search however, a police officer located a man fitting the description, and the man discarded a backpack before running from police. He was caught after a short foot pursuit.
