Wanted man arrested on Sweetgrass First Nation

A wanted man is now in custody after the RCMP critical incident response team made the arrest at a home on Sweetgrass First Nation.
The arrest happened around 2 p.m., Oct. 17. After the incident response team engaged, the man and a woman exited the home. There were no injuries and the woman was released without charge.
Johnathan Semaganis from Poundmaker First Nation, 32, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Cut Knife RCMP detachment.
Cut Knife RCMP and Sweetgrass First Nation Security assisted in the investigation.
