Man seriously injured in assault on Sweetgrass First Nation

Battlefords RCMP are investigating after a man was seriously injured in an assault on Sweetgrass First Nation.
Officers were called to a home on the First Nation around 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 20. RCMP and EMS arrived to find a male victim, who was taken to hospital with what investigators describe as serious injuries.
The suspect fled before officers arrived, and the investigation remains ongoing.
