One person is dead and a second person was sent to hospital with serious injuries following a crash Tuesday evening south of Prince Albert.

At 6:01p.m. Parkland Ambulance Paramedics responded to a section of Highway 3 south near Davis Road.

Paramedics at the scene declared one person deceased. One other person, a 42-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

At 6:48p.m., paramedics responded to a second motor vehicle collision near the initial incident.

There were no injuries in this incident.

It is unconfirmed that this second occurrence may have happened while vehicles were moving around the first incident.

“It is very important for the public to slow to 60 when passing any emergency vehicle stopped at the side of the road. Always follow the instructions of those who may be at the scene directing traffic,” a statement from Parkland Ambulance said.
