17th Street East now open, police investigating death

UPDATE: Prince Albert Police have advised that the investigation under the Central Avenue viaduct is a death investigation but the area has now been re-opened to traffic.

The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is also involved.

Prince Albert Police and the Saskatchewan Marshal’s Service have blocked off access to 17th Street East under the Central Avenue viaduct.

A public advisory was issued this morning at about 8 a.m. asking the public to avoid the area as PA Police conduct an ongoing investigation.
