Two people injured after multiple crashes in Prince Albert

Emergency responders in Prince Albert had a busy Tuesday.

Over the course of the day, there were a number of motor vehicle collisions.

At about 7;30 am, PAFD responded to the 200 block of Marquis Road for a two vehicle collision. One vehicle was towed and the other could be driven away. No injuries were reported.

The second incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at 28th Street and Fourth Avenue West.There were no injuries.

A third crash occurred near 28th and Second Avenue West. Two people were transported by ambulance to hospital.

Prince Albert Fire sad that three vehicles were towed from the scene.

There was also a messy looking crash this afternoon off Highway 2 south across from the Wholesale Club.

There were no injuries reported.

The causes of the crashes remains unknown but in the past 24 hours, Prince Albert has received a few centimeters of snow and some streets have been extra icy.

Before the collisions started, firefighters were called out at 12:10 am to the 1500 block of 14th Avenue West for a structure fire. They found a detached garage on fire with heavy smoke and flames showing. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
