Highways conditions worsen across the province
After a full day of blowing snow across much of the province, highway conditions have deteriorated rapidly, and there is more snow on the way.
Saskatchewan RCMP issued an advisory Friday afternoon that the worst conditions are in the central and northern parts of the province.
Police said Warman RCMP are on scene and responding to numerous weather-related incidents on Highway 16 near Borden. Officers are reporting that driving conditions are being heavily impacted by reduced visibility and icy conditions. Hwy 16 in the Borden area is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Rosetown RCMP are also responding to a jackknifed semi blocking the westbound lane of Hwy 7, near Fiske.
