Fatal SUV, semi crash near Armley

A two-vehicle collision near Armley has killed one person and seriously injured another.

Nipawin RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 335 at 11:15 a.m. Thursday morning. 

The investigation determined that an SUV and a semi collided. 

The SUV driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene. 

She has been identified as a 57-year-old woman from the RM of Connaught, and her family has been notified.

The driver and lone occupant of the semi received serious injuries in the crash, which closed a portion of the highway for several hours.

The investigation into the crash continues, with help from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
