The warm weather months can be fleeting in Saskatchewan, but for people in and visiting the province, there are some new ways to enjoy the summer weather.

Saskatchewan Parks has partnered with several outfits to promote new ways for visitors to the province’s many parks this summer.

“Spending time in nature is an excellent way to recharge the mind and body,” said Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Alana Ross in a news release.

“These new partnerships allow us to expand our park offerings, enhancing the visitor experience and helping people further enjoy the solace and natural beauty of our provincial parks.”

For those seeking wellness and relaxation, there are a number of new activity offerings, including outdoor yoga, a sauna and cold water wellness and Pilates.

Thrill seekers can now try out canoe polo, obstacle courses and slides, and adventure-based fitness experiences.

For those who like to learn while in the great outdoors, there are guided nature tours, astronomy programs and photography workshops also available, in addition to other traditional summer activities regularly enjoyed in Saskatchewan parks throughout the summer.
