UPDATED: Suspicious death investigation underway in Prince Albert’s south industrial area
UPDATE: Prince Albert Police said they found human remains in the 300 block of 40th Street as they were searching for missing teen Peyton Flett.
The identify of the remains has not been confirmed and more information, including the cause of the person’s death, will be provided following an autopsy that is planned for August 18th.
Police said they are conducting an active suspicious death investigation and will provide more information as it is available.
Peyton was last seen in the vicinity of Marquis Road and Central Avenue near Northern Lights Casino on June 16 or 17th. Police have not confirmed that the remains are those of Peyton, age 14.
