Arrests made in Pelican Narrows murder investigation

Police have arrested two men and one male youth in connection to a murder investigation in Pelican Narrows.
On March 9, police arrested River Jason James Charles (born 1997), Layton Adolph McCallum (born 1994) and the youth, 17, from Pelican Narrows in connection to the murder of Mark Michel.
The three have each been charged with first-degree murder and participation in criminal organization.
Today, March 10, all three appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court and have been remanded in custody. The youth is scheduled to appear on March 15 and the two adults will appear on March 21.
