34-year-old killed on Highway 4 north

A man from the Saulteaux First Nation is dead following a collision involving a semi and pedestrian Saturday.

At around 3:30 a.m., the Battlefords RCMP responded to the scene on Highway 4.

A 34-year-old man from the First Nation was pronounced dead at the scene. The name will not be released.

The highway was closed to traffic for approximately six hours while police investigated.
