Hudson Bay man killed in two-vehicle crash

A two-vehicle collision in Hudson Bay last night claimed the life of a 23-year-old man.

Hudson Bay RCMP responded to the collision just before 9 p.m. on Highway 9.

In a release, Mounties say a southbound car crossed into the northbound lane and struck a northbound SUV.

Both vehicles had one occupant in each who were both from the community.

The man driving the car was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The 61-year-old woman in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

The name of the deceased will not be released.
