Nipawin reaches agreement with SHA for doctor duplex leases
A formal agreement between the Town of Nipawin and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) regarding physician duplexes has been reached.
Nipawin council signed to a five-year lease agreement with the SHA to house physicians and other kinds of health care professionals in a building on SHA land.
Mayor Rennie Harper told northeastNOW the duplex on SHA property was a joint project made years ago, where the town owned the house, but the SHA – formally known as the health region at the time – owned the land.
