Tisdale bringing in radar signs and crosswalks with lights
The Town of Tisdale received a $10,000 grant from the Photo Speed Enforcement Committee, and they’ve been quick to spend it.
Movable radar signs will be placed at both the north and west entrances of Tisdale at the beginning to alert drivers of the speed they’re travelling, and a pedestrian crosswalk with lights on 100 Street between Dairy Queen and Memorial Park.
Brad Hvidston, Tisdale’s chief administrative officer, told northeastNOW there are no speeding issues near the town’s entrances, but the intersection between Dairy Queen and Memorial has been a targeted area to make safer for some time.
