Flying Dust First Nation won Best Western, Ronald Bundschuh won Best Automobile for his 1951 Ford half-ton, Multiworks won best Non-Profit, the Jr. Forest Wardens won best Youth Organization, Northland Pioneer Lodge won best Overall Theme and Freedom Logging LTD won best Business Entry.

Renee Marshall, with the Meadow Lake Stampede Association, said she wasn’t worried about the early-morning rain and the parade would be happening even if it did not stop. The rain clouds did clear by noon for near perfect parade weather.
