Nipawin RCMP search warrant leads to charges

Nipawin RCMP have charged a man after a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The search took place at a home in Nipawin on Tuesday, June 4. As a result, officers seized about two pounds of methamphetamine, as well as some stolen property that is believed to be from a business in town. RCMP also found other drug paraphernalia and and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Forty-one-year-old Randy Hamilton of Nipawin faces a trio of charges. He is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine), possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
