P.A. swimmer qualifies for Western Canada Summer Games
Sophie Bilodeau had one goal to achieve when competing at a recent swim meet in Winnipeg – to qualify for the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games.
“It felt great to actually achieve it,” the 14-year-old swimmer said.
Bilodeau who swam competitively with the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club for five years, posted a time of 2:50.85 in the 200-metre breaststroke.
“All I know is that when I saw her look up at the clock after her swim, she had the hugest grin,” her mom, Carolyn, said.
