Feb 20, 2019 | 10:16 AM

Community involvement and supporting our community are what the ladies of the Royal Purple Elks #50 are proud to be a part of.

Over the past few months donations have been made to various community organizations throughout our city.

With hard work and dedication, the Royal Purple Elks #50 ladies, procure funds through their Tea and Bake sales held twice yearly, monthly bingo’s and ticket sales. Funds raised go back into the community.

Youth are our future. Program’s enhancing and developing our youth are a way to ensure continuation of volunteering and leadership in our communities.

In our city, Senior’s make up the largest percentage of Volunteer’s. With continual exposure around the community and in the media, various clubs and organization’s could once again become vital and vibrant.

The Royal Purple Elks #50 have been involved in our community since it’s inception and work closely with the Elks club. Both men and women are EQUALLY WELCOME to join either the Elks or Royal Purple Elks.

Our joint “FUND FOR CHILDREN” and the S.P.A.R.C. Center (Saskatchewan Pediatric Auditory Rehabilitation center in Sktn) are examples of the outstanding work done by the Royal Purple Elks and the Elks. S.P.A.R.C. is an active participant in the Saskatchewan Cochlear Implant Program. In Prince Albert we have had a significant number of youngster’s go through our program. One young man continues the commitment of volunteering by collecting tabs and donating them back towards helping the S.P.A.R.C. Program.

The Fund For Children, efforts are directed to the communication, health and needs of children, in many cases providing kids with the funds to attend speech therapy, afford hearing aids and more. Requests for (children) 19 years and under are all considered.

As an organization, being totally community supported, we, the Ladies of Prince Albert Royal Purple Elks #50 would like to sincerely Thank everyone for your continued support.
