Water main break leads to water advisory in Wadena

Mar 8, 2019 | 11:48 AM

Some residents in Wadena were without water for a portion of the day on Friday and a precautionary drinking water advisory has now been issued.

A significant water break occurred in the northwest area of Wadena.

Town officials posted on the town’s website citing that the northwest area of the community was affected and water had been shut off to contain the break.

Water has since been restored and a PDWA was issued for residents on First, Second, Third St. NW. and Fifth Ave. NW.

Water jugs can be taken to the town office to be filled until 1 p.m. on Friday and then at the Rec Centre after 1 p.m.

Updates will be issued to the effected residents when they are available.
