Property owners in North Battleford have until Aug. 31 to pay their tax bill without penalty.

The city will apply a penalty of 1.8 per cent to any outstanding 2019 tax bill on Sept. 1 and the first day of each month thereafter to the end of 2019 for each month taxes go unpaid.

There are several ways to cover the bill. Property owners can pay in person, by phone or via online backing at their respective financial institution, mail-in or make the payment in person at city hall.

The city also offers the tax installment payment plan service or TIPPS. Instead of making a large single payment, TIPPS allows people to spread their payments out over the whole calendar year.
