What goes up must come down: Election signs given one week notice

Oct 23, 2019 | 11:30 AM

Now that the voters have had their say, election signs will have to vanish from view.

Candidates and volunteers have until next Monday to ensure election signage is no longer visible in Prince Albert.

“[Signs] have to be removed within seven days after the election,” P.A.’s Bylaw Manager Suzanne Stubbs told paNOW.

Stubbs encouraged residents to contact their candidates for more information on when volunteers can pick up signs.

Local candidates have issued social media posts on where signs can be dropped off.

Stubbs said that in regards to election signs it was a fairly quiet campaign for her office, with very few reports of bylaw-related infractions.
