A chance for Nipawin businesses to learn ways to save money on energy bills

The Nipawin and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special presentation for businesses in the region.

The chamber has invited Hudson Energy to do a seminar on Tuesday about how local businesses can save money on their energy bills.

“You don’t have to be a chamber member [to attend the seminar],” chamber Executive Director Lisa Suchlandt said. “It is a partnership between the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and Hudson Energy.”

The presentation seems especially appropriate in light of the recent drop in temperatures, which offers a reminder of what’s to come for the rest of the winter.

“It just sort of worked out perfectly, so we’re hoping to get a few more people to attend,” Suchlandt said.

The seminar will be held at the Nipawin and District Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Suchlandt said there are just a few spots left available, and you can call the chamber to register.
