Breaking news –

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has postponed all playoff games “until further notice,” due to COVID-19.

The move comes after the National Hockey League (NHL) announced Thursday the league would be postponing their season due to coronavirus.

Since the announcement was made various other hockey leagues across the nation have followed suit, also postponing play, including the entire Canadian Hockey League, made up of the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

Other professional leagues including the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Major League Baseball (MLB) have also postponed play.
