Fire Near Wakaw

No structural damage after Tuesday fire east of Wakaw

Wakaw/Hoodoo Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire two kilometres east of Wakaw on Tuesday.

Crews arrived around 4:25 p.m. and began a quick and aggressive attack on the interior and exterior of the building. Firefighters were able to stop the spread of the fire before it overtook the structure.

The damage of the fire was limited to the interior and there was no structural damage as a result.
