Lake Country Co-op wants the public to know team members at the Air Ronge C-Store are well and there are no cases of COVID-19 at the store.

The store suddenly closed Wednesday and, in an official statement later in the day, management noted an employee was sent home who was exhibiting possible signs of the virus. It mentioned the location was closed as a precautionary measure.

Co-op released a follow up statement late last night, which explained there are no positive cases of COVID-19 among team members. The store opened this morning at 8 a.m. with full services including the regular Canada Post hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“Please carefully follow all hygiene and physical distancing recommendations,” the new statement said. “We are all in this together. Thank you for understanding.”
