Woman sent to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Humboldt

Humboldt RCMP have released information on a pedestrian collision in the city.

Police were called to the collision on Main St. at 1:30 p.m. June 4.

A 78-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle when she crossed the street in a marked pedestrian crosswalk.

The woman received non-life threatening injuries, and was taken by Humboldt EMS to the Humboldt District Health Centre for treatment.

The female driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The investigation continues, and charges have not been laid at this time.
