Popular P.A. restaurant temporarily closes after staff member COVID case

A popular Prince Albert restaurant has decided to close temporarily after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Original Joe’s made the announcement to voluntarily close on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority made an announcement saying there was an increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 at the following location where a person or persons attended while infectious; the potential exposure covered five consecutive days earlier this month:

Original Joe’s, 801 – 15th St.E., Prince Albert

​November 12-16, 2020 from open to close.

In a Facebook post, Original Joe’s said it had voluntarily closed in order to deep clean and would be reopening as soon as possible.
