North Stars to play La Ronge this weekend

Following news earlier in the day, that the Battlefords North Stars would not be playing Flin Flon or Melfort this week, fans of the club received a positive follow-up Monday evening, regarding the team’s return to the ice.

The North Stars announced via social media, they will play a home-and-home versus the La Ronge Ice Wolves instead, this weekend.

The weekend showdown will mark the second time in three weeks the Stars and Ice Wolves will play each other in back-to-backs. The Ice Wolves lead the season-series, 2-0.

Friday’s game will be played in La Ronge, while Saturday will serve as the Stars’ home-opener at the NB Civic Centre.

Both games will be broadcast on 1050 CJNB. The NAPA Auto Parts North Stars Hockey Broadcast will begin with the Ultra Print Pregame Show at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday.
