Stabbing suspect released from custody

A man involved in a stabbing incident at a Meadow Lake residence has been released from custody and is set to appear in court in late February.

Eighteen-year-old Max Reilly Bear was arrested by RCMP on January 17 after officers responded to a call regarding two adult stab victims at a home in Meadow Lake. The two victims were transported to hospital for treatment and were later released from care.

Bear is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and made his first court appearance Jan. 18.

Bear is expected to appear in court on Feb. 22.
